Bibala Construction and Setting of a Residential Complex

The Municipality of Bibala will have three more new social equipment, within the framework of the Integrated Municipalities Intervention Program (PIIM).

The Deputy Governor for the Technical and Infrastructure Sector, Ema Guimarães, this Monday, launched the first stone for the construction and setting of a residential complex for teachers and nurses with 20 residences of the type 38-bedroom at the municipality headquarters, construction and appetitioning of a school of 7 classrooms in the  and the rehabilitation of 38 water collection systems.Bibala

At the launch ceremony of the first stone of the three new projects, the Deputy Governor for the Technical and Infrastructure Sector, Ema Guimarães, made it known that six (6) projects of the 11 planned, having stated that the three (3) new projects will allow the extension of the school network, imposing higher quality and dynamic in the education system.Bibala

The ruler stressed that the 38 water systems will boost the productive sector in the Municipality with greater emphasis on farming.

At the time, Ema Guimarães called for greater rigour in monitoring projects to ensure the quality of infrastructure.

“We ask that the Administration Technicians carry out strict monitoring, taking into account the rules of good building in ways to ensure the quality required in the construction of infrastructure, we would like to call on contractors to guide the compliance with contractual deadlines”, he said.

Contracts will create 120 direct jobs.

Bibala Municipal Administrator, Tchinanga Khole, said that PIIM projects will boost the development of the region.

The Municipality of Bibala dista 164 kilometers north of the capital of Namibe Province and has more than fifty thousand inhabitants, mostly peasants and livestock farmers.

Twenty residences for teachers and nurses will be built in the municipality of Bibala, province of Namibe, within the framework of the integrated action plan programme in the Municipalities (PIIM).Bibala
The work is budgeted at 598 million 975 k and 400 kwanzas.
The program also includes the construction and setting of a school of seven classrooms in the municipality of Caitou, budgeted at 143 million 347 kwanzas.
In this second phase of the launch of PIIM projects also includes the rehabilitation of 38 water collection systems, which are valued at 240 million 858 thousand and 365 kwanzas.
The municipality of Bibala was covered with 11 projects of which six started in the first phase in April.
Projects are linked to the Education, Health, Water and Basic Sanitation sector, with a general budget of 1.387.375.333,86 kwanzas.

Bibala is 164 kilometres north of the capital of Namibe and has more than 50 inhabitants, mostly animal breeders and small peasants.
